- a reply can now log a workout, correct an earlier entry, skip a day, or ask a question, all handled the same way, instead of only working when it matched one fixed format.
- if the confirmation email fails to send right after a reply is processed, it no longer asks you to redo it and risks logging the same workout twice. it picks up from what already happened and finishes cleanly.
- writing a weight with just a number after it, like "15lb 3", now always reads as three sets, not three reps, a case that used to go either way depending on the reply.
- an automated test that only passed in one time zone, and would have started silently failing on other machines, is fixed.
MAJR is building something new that runs on a daily email, and replying to it now works like an actual conversation: log a workout, fix a mistake, skip a day, or just ask a question, all from one reply, instead of needing an exact format.
in flight
when it answers a question instead of logging a workout, that answer used to get thrown away right after. now it's saved, so there's real evidence to judge before deciding whether to let it answer on its own.
→ land after a couple of real days confirm the core write path is solid
exploring
- whether it should start answering open questions on its own, not just logging workouts. leaning toward watching two real days of real workout logs first, with its would-be answers saved as evidence for that decision.
- whether new agent services should plug into one shared connection layer instead of each building its own from scratch. leaning toward building that once the next service actually needs it, not ahead of time.
